Nestled between a Natural Reserve that is home to pink flamingos, the historic town of Castro Marim and the endless sandy beaches of the Algarve lies this active traditional farm, surrounded by 12 hectares of organic Mediterranean orchards with figs, oranges, olives and carob trees.
You don’t need to leave the farm premise to enjoy a local meal! While you are enjoying your stay, you can book a table at our restaurant, Taberna Remexida, run by the one and only Maria-Joao. Book a table for breakfast or dinner and get a deliciously local taste of the produce from the farm and the Algarves.
The organic gardens of the farm are available to everyone at the farm, this includes all the guests as well. Need some mint for your morning tea? A strawberry for breakfast? Or an aubergine for dinner? They are yours! For recreation there is a swimming pool with sun-deck as well as a private beach in walking distance at the lake of the farm. The beautiful Praia Verde Beach is only a 5-minute drive away. For the younger guests there is an exciting playground and the chance to watch goats, chicken, ducks, ponies, turkeys or little pigs.
Most of Algarve’s cities and many cultural attractions can be reached in a stress-free manner by train from the small station, only 500 m away.

We had a great time at the Quinta, it’s super quiet, you can directly access wonderful walks. We even found a beach where we could stay with our dogs, away from the touristy beach there. Room was wonderful. Breakfast very good.

We were in the countryside, but not far from Castro Marim, beaches and Vila Real de St António. It was very well equipped and there was an amazing amount of space for a studio. We enjoyed a swim in the lovely pool, and had a lovely walk to and around the lake that is on the property. It is a super friendly place for dogs.

Walk, bike, or drive to the closest beach, only 5km away, and stroll along the extensive sand plains by the ocean.
Visit the castles in Castro Marim and have a drink at the local medieval tavern that takes you back in time.
Explore the rest of the eastern Algarves. Take the train to Tavira or Vila Real de Santo Antonio!
Take a day to enjoy the hundreds of variety of birds that reside in the natural reserve close by. Spot the flamingos!
