Local food, slow food, organic served right here at Quinta da Fornalha! Whether you are a guest spending your well-deserved vacation with us or not, you can enjoy the petisco cuisine, (light meals and snacks) delicately made with local, fresh and high-quality ingredients, some of our own gardens, others locally produced.
With the best ingredients, some knowledge and a lot of love, we prepare Tastings to serve as sharing plates. Share them at a romantic, family or friends dinner and acquaint algarvian gastronomic culture.
We are enthusiasts of the healthy and sustainable Mediterranean diet. Tasty, seasonal, locally produced food, preserving traditional dishes from this part of the Algarve, proposing new uses for traditional ingredients.
Immerse yourself in the charm of the restaurant. Feel the magic of the interior room with library, the porch with winter garden or the terrace.
Remexida, honours the gastronomic culture of traditional Algarve taverns, and evokes the controversial historical character that Remexido was.
During summer, the restaurant is open for lunch/ brunch with light meals and snacks and for dinner, where you’ll find a selection of sharing plates that honor local ingredients and provide a trip into Algarvian culture through gastronomy.
We offer various vegetarian and vegan options, as well.

Nuno Pais, a 30-year-old from Castelo Branco, is a passionate cook who is always aligned with the regenerative agriculture he carries out and the local economy in which he operates. He’s specialized in vegetarian food, exploring and reinterpreting traditional Mediterranean dishes and from around the world.
Every summer, new slow-food enthusiasts join the restaurant crew for the season. Apply if you want to take part in this experience.
